Job Description
Summary:
The Counselor-Licnsd-Beh Health provides behavioral health counseling services.
Responsibilities:
Conducts patient assessments and establishes therapy treatment goals.
Administers individual and group therapy.
Maintains thorough and confidential records of observations.
Evaluates progress and effectiveness of therapy interventions.
Provides patient with information regarding resources and therapeutic activities in the community.
Education &
Experience:
Minimum Qualification: One year of experience working in a behavioral health role.
Minimum Qualification: Master's Degree in Behavioral Health or related field.
Licenses & Certifications:
Preferred Qualification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Qualification: Addictions Specialist certification from the Indiana Counselor Association on alcohol and drug abuse.
Minimum Qualification: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor (LCAC), Marriage Family Therapist License (MFT), or Health Services Provider in Psychology (HSPP) obtained by hire date to position.
