As an installation tech, you will work independently in residential homes and businesses to install fiber optics and educate customers on the technology that you will be installing.
Must be pleasant and professional as you will be dealing directly with customers on a day to day basis.
General Accountabilities Provide excellent customer service and exp.
while installing fiber optic internet for residential and business customers.
Installing, troubleshooting, and repairing fiber internet cable, internet modems/routers and complex phone systems including VOIP.
Collaborate with the BerryComm team for install needs to facilitate customer satisfaction.
Plans or assists with the inside fiber installation by reviewing customers' orders/requests, job prints, suggesting the best location for installation of fiber and set up of routers.
Installs, connects, tests and/or repair/adjust equipment for customers.
Inspects and tests cables and connections to ensure that they are operational.
Maintains customer rapport by listening and resolving concerns and customer questions.
Must be able to read and understand job prints.
Utilize magnetic, radar, and electoral equipment in conjunction with blueprints to pinpoint coordinates and depths of utility lines.
Must be able to lift heavy objects and work in adverse weather conditions.
Comply and enforce company and industry safety rules, standards and operating procedures.

Qualifications Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
One year of related exp.
Must have clean driving record and be able to pass a background screen Skills Excellent verbal and written communication Detail Oriented Critical thinking Troubleshooting Complex problem solving Active listening.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
