The Maintenance Controls Technician will engage in production equipment maintenance to ensure continuous production including troubleshooting, regular preventive maintenance plan execution (TPM), and equipment modification.
This position will be involved with basic and advanced electrical work as needed and as qualified.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Troubleshoot all electronic/electrical equipment Troubleshoot automation and instrumentation issues on equipment (PLC, AC Drives, HMI, devices, etc.
) Responsible for maintaining operational status of all electronic/electrical equipment Responsible for performing maintenance tasks of all electronic/electrical equipment Ensure safe work practices and policies are followed Participate in and lead maintenance improvement activities Evaluate new and replacement electronic/electrical hardware Accurately document work activities on applicable work orders Prepare maintenance reports, collecting, analyzing and summarizing maintenance data Assist in training maintenance personnel of lower skill as required Maintain confidentiality of company information (including but not limited to drawings, schematics, process information, and recipes) Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipates upcoming needs May be exposed to cleanroom environment, dust, solvents, welding, mixing, noise, high temperature, low humidity, air-conditioned environment, CT Scan, X-Ray, and high-security areas Must be at least 18 years of age Ability to perform the physical demands of a maintenance position Experience with electricity, electrical installation, electronics, controls and programming Basic electrical tool understanding and ability to use tools properly PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical troubleshooting and repair Fabrication experience.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
