Kokomo, IN Kokomo, IN 7 days ago 7 days ago 7 days ago Job Description The Maintenance Technician Mechanical (Day shift) position is designed for an intermediate-level professional who will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production equipment through maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment modification.
The successful candidate will have a background in production maintenance and will work closely with the production department to coordinate preventive maintenance and repair work.
Responsibilities Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on production equipment and controls to ensure proper operation Communicate directly with the production department to coordinate preventive maintenance and troubleshooting work in production areas; review production repair work orders and discuss TPM activity with production Prepare and maintain periodic preventive maintenance schedules and checklists Accurately record preventative and reactive maintenance work orders Participate and lead maintenance improvement activities Ensure work is completed in a safe manner and maintain a safe work environment Prepare and maintain maintenance-related documents, daily reports, etc.
Perform other equipment maintenance and repair tasks as assigned Maintain confidentiality of company information (including but not limited to drawings, schematics, process information, and recipes) May be exposed to a cleanroom environment, dust, solvents, welding, mixing, noise, high temperature, low humidity, air-conditioned environment, CT Scan, X-Ray, and high-security areas Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age Ability to perform the physical demands of a maintenance position Basic maintenance tool understanding and ability to use tools properly Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical system troubleshooting and repair Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with electricity and electronics Fabrication experience This position is located in Kokomo, Indiana, United States, and is onsite.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
