Kokomo, IN Kokomo, IN Full-time Full-time 7 days ago 7 days ago 7 days ago Maintenance Controls Technician (Days) As a Maintenance Controls Technician (Days) at our Kokomo, IN facility, you will be responsible for production equipment maintenance, ensuring continuous production through troubleshooting, regular preventive maintenance plan execution (TPM), and equipment modification.
This is a direct hire/full-time position.
Responsibilities Troubleshoot electronic/electrical equipment, automation, and instrumentation issues on equipment (PLC, AC Drives, HMI, devices, etc.
) Working with 450 voltage.
Ability to provide PMCS Maintain operational status of all electronic/electrical equipment Perform maintenance tasks on electronic/electrical equipment Ensure safe work practices and policies are followed Participate in and lead maintenance improvement activities Evaluate new and replacement electronic/electrical hardware Accurately document work activities on applicable work orders Prepare maintenance reports, collecting, analyzing, and summarizing maintenance data Assist in training maintenance personnel of lower skill as required Maintain confidentiality of company information (including but not limited to drawings, schematics, process information, and recipes) Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipate upcoming needs May be exposed to cleanroom environment, dust, solvents, welding, mixing, noise, high temperature, low humidity, air-conditioned environment, CT Scan, X-Ray, and high-security areas Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age Ability to perform the physical demands of a maintenance position Experience with electricity, electrical installation, electronics, controls, and programming Basic electrical tool understanding and ability to use tools properly Ability to pass a background and drug test Preferred Qualifications Pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills Key Skills Communication Maintenance Automation and Instrumentation Troubleshooting Repair Pneumatic Hydraulic.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
