Maintenance Technician Mechanical (Night Shift)
Kokomo, IN Kokomo, IN Full-time Full-time 4 days ago 4 days ago 4 days ago Job Description We are looking for an Intermediate Maintenance Mechanical Technician to join our team in Kokomo, IN.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining production equipment to ensure continuous production, including troubleshooting, executing regular preventive maintenance plans (TPM), and equipment modification.
This position involves working with 450 voltage and requires basic to advanced mechanical skills.
Additional training will be provided as needed.
Responsibilities Conduct corrective and preventive maintenance of production equipment and controls to ensure proper operation of machinery Communicate directly with the production department to coordinate preventive maintenance and troubleshooting work in production areas; review production repair work orders and discuss TPM activity with production Prepare and maintain periodic preventive maintenance schedules and checklists Responsible for accurate record keeping for preventative and reactive maintenance work orders Participate and lead maintenance improvement activities Ensure work is completed in a safe manner and maintain a safe work environment Prepare and maintain maintenance-related documents, daily reports, etc.
Perform other equipment maintenance and repair tasks as assigned Maintain confidentiality of company information (including but not limited to drawings, schematics, process information, and recipes) May be exposed to cleanroom environment, dust, solvents, welding, mixing, noise, high temperature, low humidity, air-conditioned environment, CT Scan, X-Ray, and high-security areas Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age Ability to perform the physical demands of a maintenance position Basic maintenance tool understanding and ability to use tools properly Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical system troubleshooting and repair Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with electricity and electronics Fabrication experience This is a full-time, onsite position located in Kokomo, Indiana, United States.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
