Responsibilities:
Meet and exceed Chrysler/GM Customer Care Standards each quarter in all related areas Assist walk-in customers in selecting required parts, suggest companion requirements, offer specials and ensure that the customer is exposed to the full product line Pull purchased parts from stock If the part is not in stock, determine availability and submit an emergency order if requested by the customer Assist the Parts Manager in maintaining a Lost Sale Tracking Program Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery or pick-up Solicit assigned accounts by phone Order parts not in stock if (after discussion with the Parts Manager) Notify the customer that ordered parts have been received Ensure that all parts are charged out before they leave the department Be friendly, professional and efficient when working with customers, both on the phone and in person Keep current on new products and product updates Requirements:
One year of experience in an automotive parts sales position is required High school diploma or the equivalent Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information Professional personal appearance Ability to work well with the public Dealership
