The Maintenance Supervisor is in charge of designing and implementing manufacturing processes and equipment within their field.
This role is primarily responsible for ensuring continual improvement related to safety, process defect rate, production quantity and equipment KPI.
This position is responsible for guiding and supervising technicians, and evaluating their performance.
This person must possess excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, and technical skills within their field.
This position typically requires decision-making, team building, and leadership abilities; a maintenance supervisor should also stay up-to-date on machine condition within their field.
Supervisor must have effective communication skills to interact with all levels of the organization to communicate and resolve process issues in a timely manner.
Roles and Responsibilities Organizing, controlling, and supervising maintenance tasks Ensure work processes meet expected standards in a timely manner Responsible for execution of maintenance budget Lead investigations and cause analysis of defect occurrences Enforcement of all improvement measures and continuous monitoring Continuous improvement activities focused on equipment reliability Creating the necessary reports and analysis for maintenance organization Maintenance analysis of deficient products, abnormality reports, and taking the necessary measures for correction Monitoring production machines according to the key parameters, supporting production, and improving production efficiency Supervising the maintenance, repair, and proper function of production equipment and spare parts Responsible for synchronizing continuous training of maintenance workers and determining education plan while continuing with daily tasks Driving and monitoring KPI's to accomplish the goals of StarPlus Energy Keeping the work area clean and well organized, quality assurance, following all safety rules, proper usage of personal safety equipment Other duties and responsibilities as assigned Minimum Qualifications Previous supervisor or leadership experience Technical problem-solving ability Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and equipment manuals Preferred Qualifications BS / AS degree or Journeyperson or equivalent experience Experience in and familiar with equipment, construction, facilities, and utilities maintenance Knowledge in Data Analytics utilizing MS Excel or other database applications Experience in CMMS system Electrical, PLC, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Mechanical and relevant experience Industrial automation maintenance experience, including supervisory experience Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interface with various level of employees within all areas of the organization including hourly employees to senior leadership.
Knowledge or experience with Root Cause Analysis, 5 WHY, 5W1H, and 4M1D Knowledge or experience with MTTR, MTBF and OEE.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
