Apartment Maintenance Technician

A typical day for this position would include doing various jobs inside and outside of the apartments.
We are looking to hire a detailed hard working person that has the drive to work independently or in a team setting.
Perform various tasks needed to get vacant apartments ready for new move-in tenants.
Duties will vary as needed to include inside and outside of the property.
We need a multi skilled person that can do various trades such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC duties.
Job hours are Monday thru Friday from 8:
00-5:
00 Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and basic hand & power tools are required
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting and repairing equipment and systems.
- Utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track and document maintenance activities.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and prioritize tasks based on urgency.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues or areas for improvement.
- Fabricate and install new equipment or components as needed.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of the facility.
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior maintenance staff.
- Maintain a high level of customer service when interacting with internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with team members.
- Ability to supervise and provide guidance to junior maintenance staff.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
