As a group member of the procurement team, one has to know the overall work process of cell/module component purchasing work, (Material cost/inventory/KPI/payment/mass production and equipment purchase etc.) And how to use related systems.Business trips for Samsung SDI HQ in Korea and Hungary Plant for training, need for continuous collaboration with Korean/Hungary Plant personnelSuggest group KPIs and goals and manage the own progress so that the group can achieve KPIs.The procurement team needs coordinator who will be responsible for the ordering of materials, supplies, and/or equipmentThe candidate will be responsible for learning company purchasing procedures and policies and will interface closely with Inventory manager in maintaining a supply of inventory levels required for an effective company operation.Identify problems in group work and try to improve/resolve themWhen an emergency issue occurs, report it and work together with the relevant personnel to resolve the issueReports to the Manager on a regular basis (weekly/monthly) on group work, and immediately reports in case of emergency.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDirects production and inventory control, shipping and receiving, and materials storage.Directs production planning and scheduling based on sales forecasts.Maintains inventory levels to ensure deliveries occur within customer timelines.Establishes procedures for conducting and valuing year-end physical inventory.Coordinates activities with other departments to assure proper delivery, quality, reliability, and low-cost consistency.Documents and maintains necessary records and filesMay work with agents and customs brokers for overseas material buying.Select and contract with a customs clearance agency.Prepares weekly/monthly reports including the performance, inventory, and issues of each group of the purchasing team and reports them to the CEO and CPOCommunicate with Samsung SDI/STLA headquarters and related departments of SPE and respond to requested data.Compare SPE's budget target and purchase performance and manage to achieve the target.Develops and/or assists in developing strategies and solutions to continuously improve cost levels, stable sources of supply, high quality of commodities and other governing factors related to the Procurement Team and adjacent areas.Works with necessary departments to minimize costs and maximize efficiency of purchasing function.Studies market trends and systems technology related to job.Timely execution of processing approved purchase requests into purchase orders and transmitting purchase orders to suppliers.Resolve discrepancies between invoices and purchase orders when needed.Maintain Supplier Performance Rating System in MRP systemProcess scorecard monthly and input feedback from quarterly commodity strategy meetings.Performs other duties as necessary in support of business objectives.AREAS OF LEADERSHIP AND TECHNICAL ABILITIESAction / Results oriented:
