Ideal candidates should have prior experience as field construction managers for industrial engineering-related projects.
Negotiate with subcontractors to ensure smooth on-site progress and service within the project budget.
Headquarters:
Atlanta, Georgia Domestic travel is mandatory for construction areas throughout the United States.
Travel is project-based.
Flex Travel or Moving Option:
Relocation services are available to the project location, or personnel will have the option to travel to the site location with travel, lodging, and food covered plus per diem.
Responsibilities:
Review internal and vendor documents, and RFQ.
Organize the RFQ package and prepare it for receiving quotes from the vendor or subcontractor.
Work with Purchasing Department to finalize RFQ.
Communicate with project managers concerning the project objectives.
Build relationships and trust with project managers, trade managers, vendors, and suppliers.
Monitor Installation department budgets with requirements.
Responsible for building and delivering necessary reports to the project management team.
Domestic travel will be required.
Potential for overseas travel depending on project base.
Eligibility:
A strong technical background built on experience in the field of construction for industrial-related projects.
Candidates with 8-15 years of experience are preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to maintain email correspondence and draft reports.
Strong negotiating ability with vendors and subcontractors.
You must have Microsoft Office experience with an emphasis on Excel.
MS Project is a plus.
Candidates with both installation and piping experience are highly encouraged to apply.
Design experience specifically in AutoCAD is a bonus.
The ability to quote with subcontractors for construction projects is a plus.
