This job opening is for a full time Speech Language Pathologist interested in a contract assignment with a school district close to Kokomo, IN (1 hour from Lafayette, IN). The position would be a good fit for a local therapist looking for more permanent or stable work (contract extension or permanent hire are possible), or a traveler only looking for short term contract. The SLP will work 35 hours per week with a pediatric population, possibly divided between elementary, middle, and high schools within the district.
The district would prefer to hire a Speech Therapist with pediatric experience, especially in a school setting, for this position, but will consider candidates with limited experience who are dedicated to the profession and have the ability to learn quickly. There is a possibility that similar opportunities may be available for Clinical Fellows seeking employment out of grad school in the area.
